On The Inside is proud to present Transit. Transit reflects on the renewal of industry in the context of climate transition, addressing the interdependent relationship between climate, industry, and prosperity. Intervening in one inevitably affects the others. This creates friction.

Rather than illustrating research outcomes, the exhibition brings contemporary art into dialogue with academic inquiry. Developed in connection with a five-year interdisciplinary research programme by the Sustainable Industry Lab, Transit stages an encounter between scientific research and artistic practice.

Where research offers conceptual pathways for navigating possible futures, the artworks engage these questions through their own visual language. They introduce ambiguity, tension, and at times discomfort.
